I saw him perform at the Fox in Atlanta about 10 years ago. Definitely the best stand up show I've ever seen. |

While I enjoy entertaining performances, celebrities, actors and politicians mean nothing to me. They are not heroes to me, I do not give any of them any special reverence. I loved that dude. I grew up on Mork and Mindy. He was my ideal of what a Comic and Actor should be, regardless of his personal politics. He spent alot of time entertaining troops overseas and it endeared him to alot of us.
But he let me down. He's one of the VERY few Hollywood types that I was upset about when I heard they died. Fuckin world needs more of him. |

He may have been a liberal, but he's an old school liberal...like the ones from the 50s and 60s. The fact that he took it upon himself to perform so much at the USO demonstrates this I think.
