The real question is......how far are they willing to go? Will they just hold a few signs and shout a few slogans and then go home and comply?
Because a "few thousand" who are willing is more than enough. |
|
I sorta think protesting is useless at this point. The only people who are getting redress are breaking shit and shutting down society.
as bad as I hate them, they are getting what they want. we should take a lesson. |

Gun owners have been publicly turned out for years. I'm not advocating violence, just recognizing the reality. |

Block 8 lanes of traffic on a freeway, see how far you get with that.

State Reps and Senators are getting a lot of heat from the citizens. They sent a letter to the AG. We'll see where it goes from here.

I travelled out of state to the capitol of Maryland to protest their last round of gun control bills.
It was the largest in person protest there ever. The democrats passed it anyway. Protests do not work. File lawsuits instead. Launch recall petitions. Those work. |

Statehouse? You need to demonstrate 24/7 on Healey's front lawn in order to have even a tiny chance of any good.

Why would 2nd Amendment supporters go out and protest, it won't mean shit to CA's corrupt politicians. It won't accomplish anything but give them and the lib media the ability to photograph CA's gun owners for later use.

We have reached a point where a couple hundred armed patriots are going to have to show up at the Capitol, take it over, and demand that those public "servants" who are violating their oath be handed over to them. Anything less and they just sneer and laugh in our faces. |

Article mentions the loophole. Anytime someone mentions the "loophole" to me I ask them if they drive the speed limit...when they respond with a yes, I ask if they used a loophole to avoid a speeding ticket or if they simply obeyed the law.

Well done. http://www.necn.com/news/new-england/Mass-Residents-Protesting-Healeys-Weapons-Ban-388023092.html View Quote Are we jelly? Ahhh more CA bashing. As someone who grew up in Massachusetts and now lives in California let me be the first to say Massachusetts is TINY and California is HUGE. There's only one place to protest in MA that'll get noticed and that's Boston. The state is only 180 miles wide so every resident is three hours or less from Boston. That basically means there's only one place to protest and everybody can go. Not to mention 2/3 of the state's population lives within a 15 mile radius of the city - that's almost 5 million people who could have ridden their bikes to the State House (not difficult to do, I used to ride my bike into downtown Boston all the time). I applaud their efforts. California, on the other hand, is 250 miles wide and 770 miles long. Protests will be regional. We had one in Anaheim today, there's one in San Diego next Saturday, and they're organizing future protests in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento. Those are just the ones I'm aware of, We also already have ballot initiatives in the works to veto every bill Brown just signed as well as the "Safety for All" act that's on the November ballot. Actually there are multiple groups organizing several ballot initiatives so if one fails, we have other avenues to get them through. MA had a protest, Californians are protesting AND taking legal action by way of ballot initiatives. Ballot initiatives can't be ignored. I'm not sure why we're supposed to be jealous. Good job Massholes. Just be prepared, as soon as Healy reacts to your protest with some new invasive ruling GD will turn on you again. |
