I'm so ready. I just hope Fall lasts more than a week this time. Last year we had cool weather for a short time, then warm, then cold then warm. It was 70deg on Christmas eve.
Here's hoping we get an extra long Fall. |

Winter = more lift and more power. When I took my PPL check ride, it was June and cockpit temps were near 100. Summer is great for many things, but not everything. |

The best time of the year.
Although we're only halfway through Summer, and I'm not into wish my life way. Autumn will get here, when it gets here. I did see Oktoberfest beer at the store last week, and thought it's not even August yet. I guess that means Christmas decorations will be going up in the stores in September this year.

I can post tons of pictures of Fall in my area, but you can't get the feel of the air through pictures. Once September hits and that first Fall breeze comes through, then onto October and Halloween.....my favorite time of year by far.
Although I really enjoy a Tennessee and Virginia Fall, I'm now thinking an Arizona/Colorado autumn might be nice, with all the Aspens and such. |

No, it's my least favorite season n
-plants and trees look like they're dying -perfect mold growing weather -damn leaves falling -damn walnuts and acorns falling -Takes me a full 2 days to do the leaf cleanup on my 1 acre lot with my 6.5hp Giant Vac and huge huge tarps -rush our traffic gets worse with school starting. Winter??? Yes, I actually love snow!!! Time to play on the tractor and snow blade or hook up the snow thrower for some "seat time."
