I'm looking for a thin pocket knife for the GF.  She likes ones with a belt clip like the one below so she can tuck them into her pants and have it barely stick out.  2-3" blade and under $150; any ideas?

I have a small Victorinex, two blades but small and thin. Doesn't have a clip though.

Mini grip is too thick and she doesn't like the belt clip, the butt sticks out too far.  I know picky.  The boker is about right but a bit too long.

This is the thinnest folder I have Benchmade Pardue

It's certainly not heavy duty or anything but fine for most EDC tasks.

ETA: it's also avalible in a few different styles.

Second vote for the Kershaw Leek, its real thin. Blur is pretty thin too if she wants a little bit more heft.

Boker Kwaiken
Boker Urban Trapper
Boker Trance (I hate this knife, but it is THIN)
Various Benchmades, I think the Pardue knives are pretty thin, as is the 940
CRKT M16 mini
Kershaw Chive
Kershaw Leek (I put this one at the bottom of the list because I have no faith in the tip)

It definitely is going to stick up like a mini Grip would. Get the mini Grip, email Benchmade, and they'll send you a free deep carry pocket clip.

Another vote for the Kershaw onion series (Leek, Scallion, Chive). I have had a bunch of them over the years and they have always been good solid reliable blades.
The issue I have is loosing them.

What's wrong with that one pictured ? I have it. It seems to meet your criteria. If you don't know what it is, it's a Boker Plus Urban Trapper, designed by Brad Zinker.

Check out the leak. Sleek little knife. Decent blade. I wouldn't EDC it working construction. I know people who do but I feel it may be what you're looking for.

Eta now I have read the rest of the posts. Get the leak. IMO the blur is the best in class by far. Leak is what she seeks. You will both be happy with it.

Damn, that’s bad!  I haven’t had a problem with cardboard but I was tightening a tiny screw on something and it mangled the tip of one Leek.  Then another time I was trying to pry open something in the office by inserting the tip and torqueing it, and the tip snapped right off.  I was able to insert a tiny screwdriver in afterwards so it wasn’t a totally wasted effort.

Honestly the leak isn't really an Edc knife. More of a concealed poker. Get the blur for an edc.

Absolutely, that should fit her criteria perfectly.

I find it too light for my tastes personally, but an excellent knife and likely exactly what she would be looking for.

Lol.  Good choice, that's what I carry everyday.  Found it NIB at a pawn shop for $50.

I wouldn't get anything expensive at first, get a cheap Kershaw or Gerber and get her used to carrying one.  My wife went through losing two or three cheapies before she managed to not lose them, wash them, have them fall out in the car, etc.  I'm really OCD about keeping my everyday carry knife on me, or making sure I put it away in the 'shit from my pockets' drawer when I get undressed at night.

I'd rather have her break or lose a $35 Gerber or something similar than something expensive.  Trying to convince women that a knife can cost over $150 is like trying to explain a $50 Wal Mart scope vs. a $1200 Zeiss or Swarovski.
