I never had a light and/or laser attached to my CCW, hard to find an IWB holster that I liked that fits both.

I was thinking about adding a laser/light to my new CCW which is a Glock 43, previously I had my G19 and HK P30 w/o it.

ETA: all my handguns have some version of tritium night sights

Also thoughts on these light/lasers?

Laser is meh, unless you EDC NODs and it's an infrared laser.

Lights are awesome, and cool stuff like the XC1 makes CCW with a light pretty attainable.

I saw a video of Glock 19 with a light on it and it was tiny.  It was flush fit.  I think it was a Surefire, but I don't know what model.  Seems like it wouldn't be much different than carrying without a light.

Edit: Surefire XC1.  I need one in my life.

Got a light for my HD pistol. Have a Virdian C5L, regret buying it as the battery slowly drains unless you take it out

Attached? No. I don't like the bulk as I prefer fullsized pistols for CCW.(642 as a BUG or in a pinch is the exception.)

Do I carry a Surefire? Yes, everyday.

Is an X300 in my pocket? Yes, everyday.

So...kind of?

TLR6 on my 43. You barely know it's there. I just use the light. No need for the laser. I like this setup when traveling light.

TLR-1S on my EDC G19.

Lasers are ghey.

I should have a light attached but then I'd have to buy new holsters.

The TLR-6 on my 43 is worth the price of admission IMHO

The hybrid holster I have for it is tits.

I will probably be buying an XC1 for my 19 eventually because my TLR-1 or X300 are too bulky for carry for me personally.

Met a guy at the range who said a laser may have saved his daughter from pulling the trigger on her ccw.

Story goes... guy was beating on his girlfriend.   Range dudes daughter draws and the laser sort of snapped him out of it when he realized he was going to get shot.

Negative.  Light stays on the nightstand gun.

Not yet but I plan on adding a TLR 6 to my Shield soon.

Still looking at holsters but I think something like this will work. It's a very small lite setup.

I typically carry a light on me anyways but sometimes I leave it at home because I just have too much shit in my pockets. This way it's always with me and the Shield is such a small gun that you hardly know it's there.

Cool story, and maybe it MIGHT cause a bad guy to back off, but I would never count on it nor encourage anyone else to.

I have the same setup - bought a $25 IWB kydex on ebay. Works great for us non-Tier 1 guys.

I recently put a Crimson Trace green Laserguard on my S&W Shield. I carry a lot in a Remora style holster (..I know, hey it works for me) so carrying it hasn't been a problem.

I also have an OWB that a local guy made for me.

One of my pocket pistols, LC9, has the factor Viridian green laser that instantly turns on when you unholster.  Pretty cool.  Not for everyone, but it was onsale at PSA for $270 shipped last year.

The "EDGE” is made from high quality english bridle and made with all USA steer hide. It’s made with .080 thick Thermoplastic known as KYDEX T. The 277 bonded nylon thread which is just about unbreakable and will stand the test of time. The clip is very strong made with nylon 66. The 10-12 oz leather which breaks in nicely and molds to your body. The  Kydex is .080 thick and will not break or lose shape and holds the gun nice and firm.

We do not use rivets like most people, sure they work, but what our competitors don’t tell you is when your holster breaks in your riveted holsters will lose retention.

Features

High Quality USA leather

.080 KYDEX T

NYLON 66 Clip

Adjustable retention

Adjustable CANT

Easy On/OFF design

Made in the USA

All our holsters are hand crafted right here in the USA. If it breaks simply send me the broken holster and I will replace it. I stand behind my work.

I have the CT laser made for the KelTec P32 on my P32.  It makes hitting the target easier but I found it loses zero some as you carry it a while and the plastic housing deforms a liittle.

The laser is pretty much useless / impossible to find outdoors in sunlight, so my concern is being used to shooting with the laser in the indoor range, then being caught outside having to shoot and wasting precious time looking for that laser dot that you can't see anymore.
