It's not unusual in a general election for all of NY to go  red except for the 5 boroughs. The 5 boroughs have a large enough population to dictate leadership down to the rest of us, whether it be for governor of NY or president of the US.

I live on Long Island and I have to say I've never seen the support so incredibly one sided toward the republican candidate. It's like 2008 except those Obama/Biden signs have turned into Trump/Pence and 'Hillary for Prison' signs (even more so for Trump/Pence). It's pretty remarkable.

It's humbling to see so many people aware and engaged in this election.

I have no clue how accurate any of these polls are but based on visuals and local discussion I'm hopeful.

Trump signs outnumber Hillary signs by at least 30:1 around here(upstate).   Sadly, as you said, NYC usually determines elections in NY

Same in Dutchess County.

A lot of Long Island is anti-clinton as well.

Out in the burbs here, I don't see any yard signs for either Trump or the living hell

Normal signs for the local voting

I commute from Suffolk to Manhattan. Trump sign and stickers 20 to 1 during the commute, in Manhattan still more Trump but maybe 5 to 1.  At least there are people in this liberal sinkhole that are trying, unlike here in GD.

I use to make that commute. Went from Ronkonkoma to the 1+3 trains at Penn down into the financial district. My round trip commute was 4 - 5 hours. I now telecommute. What a life style change.

It would interesting to hear what the finally vote tally will be in the five boroughs as compared to the actual number of registered voters.

In Phoenix Az, I have never even seen a hillary yard sign, plenty of Trump signs.  Bumper stickers are probably 20 Trump to every H.  Hell I still see more obama 12 bumper stickers than hillys

Voter turnout will be interesting.  I've met several people who haven't voted in ages who have said they intend to vote this year against Clinton. Anecdotal evidence though-  I will believe it when I see it.

I think AZ will most likely go Republican this year.  538 has it listed as 0.7%D, but margin of error has heavy overlap into the R side.

Sure, it's a dream for NY to go red. But, if the enthusiasm I see here is similar across the country that would be a terrific thing.

oddly enough I am seeing more Clinton signs recently and live in a lower-middle/middle class very white area. Still see way more local signs than trump and clinton combined though.

I have some neighbors down the street (I don't know them) who had Trump signs out a few weeks ago.  Then, right after the pussy video was released, they were gone.  Not sure if they were stolen, the residents were embarrassed to keep them out, or they completely gave up on Trump.

I hope it was the first, but I suspect it might have been the latter.

Around where I drive, it is mostly Trump signs I see in the rural areas, but as soon as I get into the towns, it becomes saturated with Hillary signs.  Why is it that commie libs all cluster around city/town centers?

The last time Hillary Clinton stood for election before the voters of New York State they voted overwhelmingly for her statewide.

New York State was a sea of blue for Hillary Clinton.

Out of a total number of 62 counties statewide,  Hillary Clinton won 58 of them.

Is Cuomo running for President on November 8th; or is Hillary Clinton?

BTW: the Progressive Democrat  gun grabbing United States  Senator Chuck Schumer is, in fact standing for re-election on November 8th.

Last time he ran New Yorkers statewide loved him as well which is how he won 59 of 62 counties statewide.

I'm gonna' stick my neck out and predict that he's going to be reelected to The United States Senate by the people of New York State.

Fuck it; while we're at it: Kristen Gillibrand; the other Gun Grabbing Democratic United States Senator from New York State.

Last time she stood for re-election in 2012....

She won 60 out of 62 counties statewide; with about 72% of the voters.
