The Nemesis 37mm launcher

The manufacturer is at the local gun show this weekend.

List price is $679, for launcher only.  SAR Show price id $600 and $79 for the stock adapter.  So $679.

I found the Spikes brand ones for $300.

This is twice the price, but it can withstand 1/2 of dynamite per manufacturer.  Iv heard of 37's going Kaboom and destryoing hands.  So that $300 is cheap compared to lossing a hand.

$679 tho?

I cant decide...

If there was interesting stuff you could buy to shoot out of it, it might be worthwhile having.
Can you even buy parachute flares for these things anymore?

What benefit does that have over the Spikes launcher?  The Spikes is 1/3 of the price.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't they just make a 37mm that would use all M203 or M79 parts?  They're both proven weapons, rugged and reliable.

For what it's worth had a Cobra 37mm and got the loading setup to launch golf balls with black powder (not real balk power). Anyway it ended up bending back part after a while.

Not sure how their quality/strength compares to the newer models

The reason why I bought this one. Is he told me that he tested the Strength with a half a stick of dynamite.

It may be more than the spikes one. But my hand is priceless

I've got a Spikes Havoc 12" in a Kaos stock. I shoot 26.5mm flares, starburst and smoke rounds and 37mm starburst out of mine. Doesn't see much use outside of forth of July and new years.

Bought the Ordnance Group 37mm a few weeks ago.  Nice fit and finish.

I want to get the expansion stuff next.  Seems like a good idea to make it a stand alone too.

There is a ton of reloading info out there.  Google 37mm reloading or 37mm ammo.

Try Grog's site: http://www.freewebs.com/grog/
The owner is a good guy who has reloading DVD's and a very useful forum.

Exoticammo.com has a lot of reloading stuff and some free "cookbooks" and the like: https://exoticammo.com/collections/reloading

The general rule is read, work up loads slowly, wear eye protection.
