I know that this question has never, ever been brought up before in the history of Glock or the internet, so I thought I would share my epiphany with you.

Why hasn't Glock ever developed a pistol caliber carbine?  Seems like such a perfect fit for them.

Bring it.  All comments are welcomed and encouraged.

In the meantime, get your groove on.

Did you send an email to Glock or call and ask someone to find out ??
Because I would think that would be the best way to find out something...you know, actually contact the company that you are wondering about, and actually talk to someone like a knowledgeable rep and ask them.

Because I think the more entertaining route would be to ask a forum that I am familiar with for their snarky commentary.

I'd probably still have my Beretta CX4 Storm if it took glock mags.

Glock's carbine was another AR variant. They decided to shelve it because the AR market was saturated. It was 223/5.56, not pistol caliber.

Because they sell every pistol they can make... no need to build a carbine.

If you think about it, Glock really only makes one design.  It's kind of like S&W revolvers used to be.  They make them bigger and smaller and chambered in different cartridges, but there is really just one design.  They make that one design extremely well.  I suspect they want to keep it that way.  On the other hand there is Sig, which has a huge catalogue, some of which is rather dubious.
