Weird, never seen that stance on a truck unless they are towing something heavy. Must be a local fad
My first thought would be they could only afford half of a lift kit.
I've seen a few lately like that. $1000 truck+$8000 worth of shitty mods=worthless pile of horse shit
Most cheap lift kits have shitty rear leaf springs that the vendor sells as "soft ride technology" or some such bullshit. It'll get your truck higher in the air, but once you put a couple of pavers in the bed, you get the squat.
We should dub it the reverse truck mullet. Party in the front, business in the back.
You know, like, you want a lifted ass truck but still have to load things in the bed. Shits ghey, yo. |
It's always been a fad in SoCal. It looked like they were pre runner trucks, but they were always 2wd trucks
That's been around for decades. They call it "bulldog" if I remember right. It actually doesn't look bad on old 4x4 with mud tires.

What happens when they want to haul something heavy or tow something for that matter?

I went to Myrtle Beach yesterday and saw probably 50+ trucks where the front end was lifted and the back was either factory height or lowered. It was always a 90s or early 2000s domestic truck(and a couple SUVs) often accompanied by chrome rims, hid headlights, underlighting, and probably copious amounts of florida georgia line. Seems to me like it makes the truck completely worthless, but maybe that is just me. Some googling has revealed to me that it is called the "carolina squat" https://i.ytimg.com/vi/acV-cJ5-eB8/hqdefault.jpg View Quote I think that makes it easier to get your fat sister in the back for a little "family reunion" |

That there is Horry County White Trash. And unfortunately over the last couple years it is starting to spread to the rest of the state.
Driver will typically have a flat bill ball cap with white rim sunglasses Or A fish hook on his brim and jeans tucked into his boots. |

I think its a great idea.
Its a great visual aid as a warning to avoid douchebags. |

I have a leveling kit on my truck and the rear sits just a little bit lower than the front and it drives me fucking nuts! Why the hell people would do it on purpose is beyond me.
Kids at my high school, in AL, started doing that before I graduated. I've heard people call it "bull-dogged". Whatever you call it, it looks terrible and can't be good for the truck.

There is a reason a truck meant to tow and haul shit comes from the factory with a bit of a rake to it. It's that you're not staring at the clouds when you use your truck to do, you know, truck shit. Like haul loads or tow shit. |
This is the type of stuff that just makes me want to slip the fucking nonsense out of people.
Lots of highschoolers doing it around here.
Shit is retarded. |
It's a retard driver warning signal.
Buy a pickup truck, then turn it into something that can't be used as a pickup truck safely but gets shitty mileage for a oversized car with an open to the elements trunk. |

View Quote I had a Tacoma like that. 6" lift on the front and the kit only came with a 3" blocks for the rear so they back end was always about an inch low. Throw a trailer on it and it's now 3-4 inches low. I think the rear should sit just about an inch over the front. |

Whats old is new again... And on trucks now.
Didn't gearheads do this to their cars in the 50's-60's? |

Just when I thought "mini truckin" was the gayest thing you could do to a pickup...
I've got a guy near me that did the opposite on his Cobalt SS. He's got the back end raised up about 2 or 3 inches like the old muscle car guys used to do. |
