"And you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy."

Still not sold on the new one.  My faith in Ridley Scott was permanently shaken by the utter debacle that was "Prometheus".

Gotta hope and pray that he learned.... So much potential; I love Blade Runner, really looking forward to this, and hoping it'll do the original justice

I didn't love it, but it wasn't terrible either.

Phillip k dick was a great writer though and that's where it starts.... So where did they get the source material for this one?

I think you hit it on the head when you wrote "source material" instead of story.  Phillip K Dick was a great writer, but Blade Runner is only loosly based on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.  Loosly enough that I would guess the source material for the sequel is still Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
