I bought a small metal tool box at an auction based on the few small items that I could see.When I got to really look in it there was a brand new " U.S. Property" marked Enfield action ( stripped)

Picked up some old GI .45 parts for $50, one of those parts was a horizontal serifed H 1911 barrel in VG shape, sold it a couple months ago for $$$$$$ bucks.

Best part was he was in the same state as myself so we met up and he let me finger a pair of consecutive SN# 1911's from 1912 in minty shape.
