Best am radio? - AR15.COM

I want an am radio that gets supernatural am reception.

Most radios suck at am these days and I enjoy my c2c, it's not as good as it used to be though...

Tecsun PL880 AM/FM/shortwave radio has an excellent receiver.

Haven't heard anything that is comparable to a CC Radio.

Well, actually, I did hear something even better, about thirty years ago.

But that was home-built by a ham radio operator who enjoyed broadcast band DXing.

I tried (and failed) to get him to share the details with me so that I could build one for myself.
