Don't know and didn't read the thread, but I'm dating a girl who grew up with Shannon Price, Gary Coleman's wife.
Ask me anything you want to know... btw, she's a redhead and there's speculation Gary didn't "Fall" down the stairs.

Used to see him doing security at the front of a store in the Fox Hills Mall in Ladera Heights (LA) in the 90s...

I thought his friend got molested? I remember the episode, but not much detail other than the porn cartoons he had them watch.

I saw that episode, creeped me the fuck oooouuuutttt! Loved Mr Carlson on WKRP, but never liked him again after that.  They had him come to a Boy Scout jamboree in KS when I was 12.  After that molesting episode I decided I didn't want to meet him and wished they had sent Jonny Fever.

It's all related to the mental trauma of discovering that turkeys can't fly.  He was a broken man who turned to the darker side of his nature.

I remember the episode where Kimberly robbed a video store with a pellet gun and ended up dying of a drug overdose.

Wait.

What do you mean that wasn't an episode of a TV show?

I think it was the same episode where she posed for Playboy and showed her vaj but NOT her tits.

Maybe it was a very special special 2 part episode?

I remember it.

I also remember the Willis smokes pot episode, the what's her butt does pills episode on saved by the Bell.

Weren't there a bunch of aids related episodes?  I forget the exact shows. So many were damn near clones.

I do remember the blonde bitch with bangs on Charles in charge. God I wanted her ugly ass so bad.

Eta: meh, I'd still hit it.

EVERY sitcom had one or 2 serious episodes in a season.  Generally the ad spots had the words "very", "special",  "episode/show title."  Or some combination.  It became a running joke - that's where the whole "Very special special very special very very special episode of a very special ...." comes from.

TV in the 70's, 80's, and 90's - if you are young, don't ask.  If you are old, just suppress the memories. And if you were involved in the TV business back then, choke on a dick.

Diff'rent Strokes had a Kimberly almost gets raped episode, in addition to the bicycle man molester episode.

Also, one when Arnold gets robbed and another when Willis' new girlfriend is a narc trying to bust coke dealers in school.

It was a pretty serious show at times, like the Jeffersons.

Yeah.  Closest the Brady Bunch had was Greg smoking and having that goat over when people thought it was a chick.

I think it ended too early as none of the Brady girls got knocked up.
