A single-shot pistol the size of a stack of credit cards hits the market A pistol that folds into a package no larger than a stack of credit cards and is able to be handily carried in the owner's pocket is hitting the market.A newly-minted gun manufacturer out of Asheville, North Carolina, called Trailblazer Firearms recently rolled out a new unique handgun called the LifeCard. The single-shot .22 LR folding pistol released in early August is the brand's first product.RELATED: The best-rated gun ranges in the state of TexasAccording to the Trailblazer website this pistol is about half an inch thin and weighs less than 7ounces. The steel and alumnum piece has a full-size handle when it is unfolded. It has a safety latch to open it and a locking mechanism. It still needs to be cocked to be shot.It comes with an price tag of $399 making it one of the more expensive .22 LR pistols on the market, especially for its size. It is currently not available for sale in California or Massachusetts. According to one gun blogger it was expected to cost nearly double the MSRP. There is a similar pistol that made headlines last year that was the size of an iPhone but the LifeCard is quite a bit smaller. There are also mini revolvers on the market that also cater to the discreet carry, "last resort" market. The president of Trailblazer Firearms, Aaron Voigt, is a veteran of both the United States MarineCorps and United States Army.In an interview with American Rifleman he said that the idea for the pistol was hatched in 2010. RELATED: These are the best gun ranges in the Houston area"Initially, I had no idea that going from concept to actual product would take seven years, but inessence, that time spent was valuable and will show in every aspect of this remarkable product. I am looking forward to putting this pistol on the market and can't thank my family and friends enough for all the support and patience," Voigt told the outlet. The brand plans on releasing even more interesting pistols like the LifeCard. "New designs and true innovation have been the exception and our goal is to be the pioneer laying new trails for gun enthusiasts, designers and manufacturers," Voigt said in a release last month. |

Not $399 cool, but I wouldn't mind having one for shit and giggles.

If it were $40 it might make sense but at $400 just about everything else is a better option.

Pretty cool but how do you aim? Gutter sight?. I'll take one in .32acp threaded for a suppressor plz.
EDIT yup it has a gutter sight. Life card |
I can see the appeal to some people I guess, but it doesn't really fit the niche since it's chambered in .22 LR.
Could be cool if it was bumped up to at least .25 ACP or something other than rimfire. I still wouldn't buy one but at least then it might be worth a damn. |
Maybe use the handle as a flip knife, blade, or something?
Neat we have options, I wish them the best, but it's not for me. |
I'd pick one up if they were around $199-250 but at $399 there at better option. I would like to get one though.
IF the MSRP was $99 or less I might consider one just for the hell of it.
At $399 LOL No F'n way. |

Cool backup weapon in case you are disarmed of our primary but not a good "go to" for a weapon, id preffer a small pocket glock or Ruger lcp over this.
It is unique though......i'll give it that |

I'm still waiting for the Iver Johnson Ace for less money though I hope the final production version looks even more retro than the Shot Show version.

I checked in on the trail blazer a few weeks ago and thought the price was around $250?
I would buy one if under $200. I would keep it loaded with ratshot. It would be a great little anti-snake gun. |

Not an AOW because it can't fire while in disguised form. It has to be opened up so it looks like a gun before it's capable of being fired. View Quote Attached File |

For $100 I might be interested in a single shot .22.
At $400, not a chance. |
Price will keep most ppl out of that game. Id love to have one to toss in backpack, but not at 400.oo
Ill stick with NAA .22mag/.22lr and then you get 5 shots for something thats even smaller then that |
I thought about buying a pen gun before the 94 AWB. Used to see them everywhere. I think they were around $99 or so.
In the infographic it says it holds 4 extra shots in the handle
Their slogan is kinda funny:
”The last Gun you’ll leave behind” Shouldnt it be the gun you never leave behind??? |
Stupid. $400 for a single-shot 22lr
For much less money and the same size you could get a 5-shot NAA mini-revolver in 22lr or 22mag. |

Im on the lookout for one of these, but they always seem to go for more than I want to spend for one. https://s3.amazonaws.com/mgm-content/sites/armslist/uploads/posts/2015/04/20/4260886_02_sundance_point_blank_22lr_640.jpg View Quote |

This retarded bullshit for $399 or a Ruger LCP from PSA for $169? lol
I would get one as a novelty, like the NAA mini. A friend has a Braverman in .25,sort of the same idea. Not everything I have needs to actually be practical.
Hell, for the same price/size you could get the upcoming NAA "Ranger II" top-break 22mag, 5 shots and a decently quick reload.
I like miniature guns....I have a bunch of em (including the sun dance industries gun pictured....I just missed buying another one for $40 from my dealer...)
For some odd reason I gotta thing for the small last line of defense pistols....I want this....BUT not at 4 bills...I was thinking list would be under $200...preferably $120 but $400....nope...I'll wait till someone gets sick of the novelty and sells it for cut rate pricing. |
I mean it's a neat toy. But I wouldn't use it for self defense. Takes a second to pull it out of your pocket and open it up and shoot it. While I have a pocket 9mm that I can pull from my pocket and shoot immediately. Larger caliber, faster to shoot, 7 shot capacity, still looks like just a wallet to anyone else because of a pocket holster. A single shot 22lr isn't my idea of a perfect pocket gun.
Its neat
but no way in hell I'd spend $300 on one! $100 maybe... |
If only there was something out there that held 5 rounds of 22 mag for far less money in only a tiny bit bigger of a package.
Of yeah. Attached File |
I won't be buying one, but I do like seeing products that are outside of the same old AR, 1911, or Glock-killer boxes.
WTF?
A KT P-32 is only .75" wide and holds eight rounds.....For around half the price. |
