I meant to post a different picture in another thread and came across this saved one in my phone and thought GD would get a laugh out of it.
Maybe it's just me, but I think it's ridiculous and hilarious. The threading for the end cap on my T22 integral is the same as a Spectre II. I got curious one day awhile ago, and sure enough, it works. You can add a suppressor to a suppressor. I was concerned about baffle strikes, so I only did a few rounds. Still ridiculous. So if any integral is kind of a two stamp gun (SBR/Can), is this a three stamp gun? Attached File |

Here's why this is possible:
T22 has an end cap: Attached File Removing it is how you clean it: Attached File But.... What if you just removed the end cap, but didn't remove the housing? Attached File |

OP you win arfcom today.
Fuckin genius. Seriously. This is why I love arfcom |

It's like attaching a shoelace to a an auto M16. A machine gun on a machine gun.

The guys at Capitol Armory have done this with 3x SiCo Hybrids on a .458 socom and like a dozen Dead Air wolfs on a 300blk.

Take an Integrally suppressed HK, SBR. Add a registered trigger pack. Screw on another suppressor as above.
4 Stamp? I know you'd need to modify to mount the second can, but??? |

A few years ago, I was talking with the guys of Thompson Machine when they came up to the shop for a demo weekend. I asked them about doing what you did with your gun, WhiskersTheCat.
Brooks told me there was almost no gas exiting the barrel with an integral 22, so it would be a diminishing return to add another can to the mix. Cool idea for sure. I'm waiting for next year to get my first 22 bolt action that I'm going to run my .45 silencer on. Probably the Savage MKII FVSR (28702). Put a little Vortex Copperhead scope up top and start decimating critters. |

Found this using google. A RDIAS would make it a four stamp gun. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/90/10/44/901044e3f4da4edad04d539364faada0.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

That's a good thread on it's own. What's the maximum amount of tax stamps on a single gun? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/90/10/44/901044e3f4da4edad04d539364faada0.jpg Oh, and NB4 ATF lacky says you can't make a suppressor longer..... |

Spectre hardly ever sees time. In fact, I filed a 5220 and it permanently resides at a trustees house. (Yes, I know that's unnecessary in state, but since it's semi permanent I filed the paperwork.) |

Auto sear negates barrel length. So 3 stamp. Now, if you put an aow on the side rail..... Oh, and NB4 ATF lacky says you can't make a suppressor longer..... View Quote A truly removable RDIAS requires the gun to be a SBR if a short barrel will be installed when the RDIAS is not in the gun. You could also achieve a 4 stamp with a LL powered SBR with a 203 and a can. |

I don't believe there is such a thing as, "suppressing a suppressor."

Thought about doing this before, glad I'm not there only one. Guess it's not even worth doing.
