That first photo makes me think: just because it was issued doesn't make it not stupid.

I believe it was thoroughly vetted through Crane. It must have worked, if they thought it was GTG. View Quote Dumped the mounts for a Larue....actually Larue traded me my ARMS stuff for the Larue. I will say that the SWAN sleeve is ok, but the scope rings IMO is crap. Their throw levers are junk... |

Not knocking the Mk. 12, but if I had to make a choice, I'd take a 607 over a 12 any day. http://www.gunslot.com/files/gunslot/images/55492.jpg View Quote |

MK12 Mod 0 is best looking rifle bar none. Probably not best performance or lightest option but who cares.
Next is MK18 Mod 1 followed by Mod 0 |

Yeah. You might be right, but Paul Howe called his weapon a "CAR-15". They were procured outside of military testing, IIRC. So they didn't have a military designation....? View Quote |

That's basically the medieval period of the black rifle.
You can build a gun every bit as accurate for like half the weight these days. |

So what consists of an MK12?
Trigger, 18" barrel, floating tube and scope? |

I like the Holland variation.
