I’m guessing you don’t watch any movies or TV for that matter.

Pops liked it. We were just trying to figure out who was who. The 8 second ride sex scene was unexpected. Sucks to be the actors who are killed off in the 1st episode...........
|

I like that they dropped their shit to go all dr pol on that pregnant cow........
|
|
would be kinda cool to see Robert Duvall make a cameo appearance.

Penance is earned. You find closure.
I think Kelly Riley is hot. 8654 |

That episode was badass. The dad rolls around like a king in Montana.

OMG, a TV show that takes place in Montana that is actually filmed in Montana and not Canada?
That's as rare as a hooker that lets you pay after. In. |

Paramount will probably have it to watch later. http://www.paramountnetwork.com/shows/yellowstone View Quote |

I wonder how much Montana real estate values are rising right now?
Erryone wants to be a cowboy. |

Getting ready to watch it again tonight.
Very much enjoyed it the first time. |

Not bad. I'll keep watching, it noting else I might get to see more tits.
I guess the youngest son is some kind of special ops guy. Looked like a Bronze Star that they called a Silver Star, also saw what looked like an ARCOM but he has a Navy Cross too, he must be a closet badass. |

Several references on how that land should belong to the Indians.
Sorry but we had the Cowboy v Indian war and the Cowboys won. End of discussion. The Indians learned what happens when you don't protect your borders. |

Dances with Cows.
Costner's a douche. He looks down on us, the locals in the area who actually live here year round. He likes to come out here during the nice weather and play dress up cowboy. You have to live here year round for several complete years before you should even claim to know what it's like in SW Montana. That's what we call the area. Yellowstone is a park in mostly Wyoming. There is no ranching inside the park. FFS. |

View Quote I don't believe the show is saying they are ranching in the park, I believe the Yellowstone reference used is the area, not the park, there is much more to the Yellowstone than just the park. If you are worried about someone looking down on you, then you have bigger problems going on. Living close to Glacier I see that attitude from visitors every once in a while and just say fuck it and picture them going through just one winter in Montana! |

Ok, the actor who brands "Jimmy" the methhead looks and sounds like the NASCAR driver Kirt Busch.

Just noticed when they are on the Res for dinner with the BIL.
Friend asked what medal that is......BIL says Silver Star. Friend then asks, "You got one of those?" BIL then raises his fingers for 2. I thought he was talking about the son, but now I'm thinking the BIL is saying he has 2, as in more than the Dutton son. Did anyone else catch that. They are both badass operators? |

Kayce Dutton was a Navy SEAL View Quote What I'm asking is after watching it again, I think the brother in law was also an "operator". The friend I think was asking the brother in law, not Kacey.....maybe I'm wrong. The whole exchange seems to be one upping eachother. It will be interesting to see if they go back to why the brother in law didn't speak to Kayce. Lot of animosity. |

That scene where they were mounting up to run a night op and hit two targets was badass. Dudes moved a river in one night, then hit the indians hard

Most of it is actually filmed in Utah. The only thing they do in Montana is the shots that can't be faked. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Can't manufacture a reason to hate the show just yet, but the the Y branding thing is completely weird.

They actually did use quite a few locations around Montana, I remember all of the casting calls they were putting out over the last year and around 6 months for extras.
As far as the Y brand, if I remember correctly, there is or at least was a registered Y brand here in Montana at one time, I know they have a big book of registered brands with the Montana dept of livestock and I remember seeing the Y brand. |

I thought the BIL was Army and he pointed to his medal, and then Kayce pointed to his silver star which was right next to the other medal, unless I am mistaken. Why put two different branches, two different service members awards together like that? maybe I need to re-watch that scene View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
