I ask this because, I always see Wish advertised on social media. But, I have never met anyone who has ordered anything from them. The items that are posted up are questionable at best, and the whole thing seem sort of shady to me.

I’ve never actually met anyone who’s ordered from them either.

Yup! A staple of the gas stations from my previous town in GA. Up here it's quite different. You know when you go to the store and they've got those locked cases of the expensive items to deter theft? In Western and rural AK those cases are filled with Listerine, hand sanitizer, hairspray, etc.

Years ago there was a bodega just up the street from my place. Two Paki dudes worked there, G and K. I think K owned the place. I could understand about 40% of what G said and about 20% of what K said. G would give me up to about $50 credit at a time so long as K wasn't there. If K was there alone, he's give me another $50 credit

K's kid was a fucking terror. If you gave K your credit card to pay for your purchase, his kid would swipe it out of his hand and refuse to give it back. One time K proned out his kid on the counter and told me to beat the fuck out of him. I was sorely tempted, but couldn't justify beating up a 10 year old.

Call me nasty but I used to drink a 40 of Natty Ice sometimes when I would grill. A store close to me sold them for $1.75 and it would result in a quick buzz before supper.
