That show was proof my parents didn't actually pay attention to the content of the cartoon, they just checked what channel was on the TV. It was on Nickelodeon so it was OK... ha ha |

The classic show was awesome. I made it 2/3rds through the first episode of the adult reboot and turned it off. It was a travesty.

That show pushed not only social boundaries, but the limits of animation. Every frame was unique - they didn't reuse anything. Every episode was truly original.
The gross-out hyper detailed closeups of everything really made the show. Now I need to buy the box set. |

When I found out Kricfalusi moved the 15-year-old girl from his fan club into his house and had been banging her and treating as a personal slave it kind of soured it for me. (She’s animated into one episode, wearing a harness and ball gag and being ridden like a horse). Fucking too weird for me which is saying a lot. |

The original version, while still very very messed up, was not nearly so messed up as the "adult" version which came later (which was awful).
