My favorite Rip Torn role was the short part he had in “Flash Point” with Kris Kristofferson and Treat Williams (1984) and of course the Larry Sanders Show.

I watched this a while back. He's so young and looks so different from the crotchy old guy we've come to expect.

I found out this morning that he grew up around Temple, TX and even attended Texas A&M for a while, but I don't think he graduated.
