Where did you listen to him and what was your favorite 'bit'?

I listened to him on DC101 for years and then tried to keep up with him when he went into syndication.

Although I liked just about all of his bits, I'm going with 'cooking with the hydraulics' since this a food website.

I listened to him on DC101 when I was with VMFA-321 at Andrews AFB '88 - '92.  The first time I heard him say " shuddering Shangri-la" I damn near wrecked my car laughing.

Have some of his skits on my mp3 player.

Love it.

I'd say best skit from what I have is "Lost at sea" or "Hunting baby seals"

I listened on DC 101 for years.  I was hoping to channel the Greaseman last night.  Hoping that we would bury Biden and his minions and could exclaim AMF!

Was that the guy that would say "gobity gook?"  93.3 WMMR had him on in the early/mid 90s. I used to pick up cars at Bordentown NJ and would listen to him.

I was going to say WYSP but could have been WMMR.  I listened to him in the 90s while I was working as a security guard.  It helped the time pass he was funny, then he was gone and idk why.  No internet to look it up or anything.

I was listening to DC101 back when Stern got fired for the one way ticket to the 14th St. Bridge joke.  Greaseman was who they hired to take over. Dude’s real life was a train wreck but he had some funny sketch stuff. The “Law Man” sketches were always entertaining

He used to show up at the local dragstrip a fair bit, good guy.

Got all of his cassette tapes from the studio when he worked there in MD. He was leaving when we were coming in. Stayed in character for the minute it or so we met, said we loved his stuff, and were coming to buy the cassettes. Also saw him at a chili cook off in Alexandria with his blonde trophy wife on stage with him.  This was mid 80s.  Brilliant, funny skits, but bad judgement brought him down.

Listened to the 1st MLK day bit live as I was driving home one morning, I almost drove off the road when he said it. Maybe that bit just got him suspended? Today he would've been lynched.
