NRA Lifetime Membership can be had today @ nra.org for $750 (half price) through the chat windows that pops up when you hit the site (you chat with an agent that signs you up).
It is a Full Lifetime and comes with the jacket, magazine, etc. just like if you paid $1500.
There are also discounts for other memberships available as well.

I know a lot of y'all are really down on the NRA right now ... I am too ... but I want to believe they will fix their problems and start fighting for our rights again!
I want to believe because we need them now like we've never needed them before!

BTW, I'm also a member of Gun Owners of America (I hedge my bets

) .... we need all the help we can get with Smellosi, Shitmer and Xiden trying to trash the 2A.

IF and WHEN they fix their shit, I'll think about sending more money. In the mean time it all goes to SAF and local groups that are more concerned about real change than "keeping a seat at the table of compromise".

ETA: What would it take: NRA comes out and admits they were wrong about bumpstocks. They have been wrong to oppose repeal of 922o. They will stop worrying about what the left thinks about them, realizing there is no final compromise beyond complete surrender, and they will stop compromising.

And that's never going to happen.

As a holder of 2 life memberships and a benefactor membership, this is the biggest scam out there. An NRA membership does nothing but provide limo transportation for Wayne and his cronies. The NRA has not helped our cause one time in the last 20 years. They don't even really do much in the way of competition shooting or safety instruction or anything they used to do. Now they just sell shitty insurance to idiots and collect annual dues from bigger idiots. I was a monstrously big idiot when I bought each of my assorted big memberships. I was young and stupid. You don't have to be. Save your money and put it toward something useful to our cause: Buy a gun that then libs hate. The more of us that buy the scary lib-terrifying guns the more those guns qualify as being "in common use" and then they can't be banned.
