The worst heat I have ever endured was a moderately warm afternoon at the British Museum in 2013. Apparently, they haven't discovered AC yet. I made it through summer hurricane deployments with the Texas State Guard that were more pleasant in terms of moving air and humidity. I grew up in Houston.

This was still worse for some reason. Something about the still indoor air, I guess? Outside it was quite nice.

When I was in HS, there was a 450+ lbs wrestler in our region. He was undefeated because people tried to wrestle him and once on the mat, he'd just lay on top of his opponent until they stopped squirming.  Not many people have the strength to move a 450 mountain on the mat.

Then he would use his belly to roll them on their back for the pin. A small heavyweight opponent, at approximately 190 pounds, figured out the way to beat the big guy was to run around behind him and push him over. Small guy would get the take down points and let the big guy go. It was certain defeat if you let the big guy get a good grip on you.

Reminds me of Tab Thacker. Huge college wrestler. Actually had some skills, about on par with a good high school wrestler. But his weight...as Stalin said, "Quantity has a quality all its own."

That was pretty good, I grew up listening to Black Sabbath while my parents were John Denver fans and I actually like some of Johns songs.

Anyone remember the X-Files episode where some creature is killing people in an HOA for rule infractions. So Mulder and Scully go undercover as a couple and buy a unit. Mulder tries to summon the creature by building a coy pond in his front yard.

Whenever I hear HOA news stories, I can't not think of this episode.

Haha, yeah, that was a good one.  That and the ‘Cops’ episode really stand out in memory.

It amused how, at least in the early seasons, most of the episodes had Scully doubting Mulder, Mulder being right, and then the very next episode she went right back to doubting him.

Weren't their undercover names that Mulder came up with in the HOA episode "Rob and Laura Petrie"?

One of my favorite fights because the commentators had to eat crow so hard. " Orlando is going to get out of this any second. He's so strong and skilled" >elbow< "Oh. Oh my. We didnt see that coming" >elbow elbow elbow elbow<

"Hey, ref. I dont think Orlando wants to play head bouncy between elbow and floor any more"
