Anybody seen my old Dungeons and Dragons books around here? I can't find them anywhere.
|
|
Wife and I thought it was a really fun show. I didn’t get any weird vibes from it.
|
|
Just wait for Netflix’s Narnia series that Twitter users were sharing.
Also, why do any of you guys still have Netflix? Pedo supporters, are you? |
|
OP reminds of my mom that time she threw away my Metallica cassettes when I was twelve.

Quoted: Caught a couple episodes near the end of the season. Someone else was watching it. What a terrible show. Complete satanic inversion. The Christians are the evil monsters. The demons are the good people. The entire point is to have your kids cheering for the evil people to defeat the Christians (pilgrims). The idea of sending evil spirits to hell is on the same level as cheering for the demon in the exorcist movie. I get most of you aren't religious or even care. And it's just a tv show. But you have to be amazed at how culture is completely flipped. And yes, it's woke. And laced with all the buzz words we've come to loath. View Quote Attached File |

Quoted: Thanks for the head's up. Haven't seen it, but given the nature of Big Media I am not surprised. In addition to expecting the end of free elections, I fully expect the overt persecution of orthodox Christians. After all, the thought police know Christians are guilty of intolerance, hate speech, whatever. I don't think this wonderful progressive movement will stop until America resembles the USSR. Hope I'm wrong. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Caught a couple episodes near the end of the season. Someone else was watching it. What a terrible show. Never heard of the show. But you sound like my wife telling me to quit listening to the devil music. Aka Iron Maiden.

Great series. No real political push at all. Solid story and a good moral compass. There’s also a strong message about learning about people before judging them and making friends who aren’t like you. My girls loved it and I am not upset one bit.

View Quote Yeah, I was surprised it was at the level it was. My only drawbacks were Gomez and Morticia. They didn’t exactly steal the scenes they were in. Other than that, it showed a very human side to the characters. OP is a karen. It’s a good show. |

pilgrim sorcerer with magic powers (i.e., can't possibly be a christian) is the big bad, and OP gets defensive.
OP needs remedial catechism or some shit. |
|
I thought the series was great.
Pilgrims were Protestants, so it's not like they were right about anything. |

lol satan is turning the screws everywhere OP. whatcha gonna do?

I actually enjoyed it. Wednesday doesn't have a cellphone, doesn't engage with social media, plays cello, writes novels, and is fluent in Latin, German and Spanish. The town and school people seem to be a genuine mix of different cultures, and none of it seems forced. No sexual content or drug use to speak of.

I'm just going to dance dance dance with my hands hands hands.....

I watched the whole season, and didn't get any of that out of it.
ETA.... There's plenty of evil shows to complain about. I just don't think that's one of them, at least not without really stretching. |

Beside this rock and roll music leads to devil worship. Do they dance? Because dancing is certainly satanic. I saw a documentary called “Footloose” once… chilling. |

OPs not wrong.
I didn't really pick up on the pilgrims bad/monsters good aspect, but I did get sick of the girl power and white people bad bullshit. |

I hate to break it to you, but the puritan pilgrims who came to North America were genocidal monsters. You must not know your history very well OP, or choose to ignore it. Hell the day after the first thanksgiving, every single Wampanoag native was murdered. Thats putting it politely.
I'll take it even a step further. The 10 Commandments are a big deal, especially in Christianity. The pilgrims conveniently forgot the most important one. Tho shalt not kill. If you really want nightmares read the book "The State of Native America: Genocide, Colonization, and Resistance by M. Annette Jaimes. Back to the show. Wednesday is a stoke of genius. I personally loved it. The gothic ambiance, Wednesday in all her glory, tons of pop culture easter eggs, fantastic music score by Danny Elfman, and the magic of Tim Burton are in perfect balance. I thought they portrayed the pilgrim puritans beautifully. My favorite character is Thing. All the other characters are great too! |

According to the church of satan dot com, they don't believe in satan because they are atheist.
fuck the chuch of satan and it's fake ass followers. |

Quoted: Oh yeah. The first couple of seasons the witches were overtly satan worshipping. There were also feminist themes of oppression, specifically how the male witches were trying to take control of the coven from the women. But if you stuck with it you saw the coven evened out and they eventually turned away from satan. It was good show. Wednesday was also a surprisingly good show. And the characters are based on an IP from the 60's. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: If that offends, you might want to skip Chilling Adventure of Sabrina series too. Shame, I always loved the Addams Family and if this is actually decent, I'd watch it, or some of it anyway. I suppose there are alternatives. |

I am a Christian and I did not get that out of the show AT ALL . There was a very small amount of anti-colonialism crap but that was very tame and easy to ignore. I didn't get any satanic or anti-Christian stuff at all.

I could literally smell the cigarette smoke on Christina Ricci through the TV. She must have a three pack a day habit minimum.

Yeah we liked it. Clutch those pearls a little tighter, OP, and please think of the children.
