Seriously, why is this still there.
Proof that China owns Biden? Is it weapon? Why haven't we shot it down, really? |

"Why haven't we shot it down?" Because the payload is the size of 3 buses. No one want to be responsible for it falling on a school or orphanage.

Because they don't know if it has 55gallon barrels of WuFluTwo in it or not.

The more terrifying thing is it passed ALL our detrction systems for several days

Passive emissions collector.
We probably let it stay up because the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t…so no point in letting it stay up anymore. |

It certainly has taken the attention away from everything else.

It is a bag of money, with a note which says, "Deliver to Big Guy if found."

The balloon supposedly has low tech resolution and poor technology. Their spy satellites are much better.
If you shoot down the balloon, maybe they can use it as justification for trying to shoot down one of your spy satellites, and that's why no action has been taken. |

History always repeats.
At first, the Germans floated dirigibles over London which infuriated them. Later came the buzz bombs. |

View Quote I don't buy that argument. Spy satellites are status quo. The balloon is the escalation, not our reaction to it. Besides, China has shown aggression towards our manned surveillance craft in international airspace. If anyone is being the provacateur it's China. |
