Incredible to watch them work, and even more incredible to think about the generations of men who have worked on these buildings knowing that they were doing work that they would never see completed for the benefit of people not yet born. |

Whiskers why would post Sousa? You hate the Federal government.
He succeeded in uniting the country through music and pride, rather than division, and imprisonment. John Phillips Sousa did more for this country than Lincoln did, because it was based on an entirely different set of goals and ideas. I would argue his music played a key part in keeping Reconstruction alive and healthy, which is an admirable task. |
