Political appointees generally stay a year or two then leave. Being Deputy Under Assistant Secretary looks good on the resume but the pay is shit, there's no real career path, certainly no job security; always been a revolving door and always will be.

The House has HER written documents to obstruct justice, according to several new articles.
Regardless if she is still employed by the justice department or not, written documents are hard to overcome. Pretty sure the House can turn her rather than charge her with obstruction of justice. This is similar to the Nixon investigations when the first crack in the armor started seeing the presidential staff turn on Nixon. |

Investigators learned in December 2020 that Wolf “reached out to Hunter Biden’s defense counsel and told them” about investigators’ plans to search a northern Virginia storage unit that contained business records, Ziegler said in prior congressional testimony — “once again circumventing our chance to get to evidence from potentially being destroyed, manipulated or concealed.” This alone is at minimum conspiracy & obstruction. |
