Oh hellz yeah!!! Yngwie was my guitar god. I used to practice his first two albums 8+ hours a day. I knew every note in those albums. I eventually I majored in classical guitar because of his influence. I played a medley of Black Star, Far Beyond the Sun, and Icarus Dream Suite for my senior high school talent show. It was in hicktown USA. Half the judges were in the tank for a popular local gal singing "Rocky Top".

But most of the rest voted for me. I had a HS pre-calc teacher who barely knew I existed. After that show he almost worshipped the ground I walked on.

I don't listen to as much Yngwie as I used to (and don't play it anymore), but once in a while I crank up his stuff through my studio monitors. I used also play "Now You're Ships Are Burned, Marching Out, Soldier Without Faith, You Don't Remember, and half of the Alcatrazz album.

My girlfriend and I are into extremely eclectic and varied style of music.

We both share a deep love of Bluegrass and Traditional Americana.

I have (like most of us) grown up with this song and I NEVER thought a thing of it....

Then a friend of mine from Australia sent this to me a few minutes ago....
