I went through all five pages trying not to post a repeat so here is my list of covers I like. Headphones add to the experience.
Bryan Adams - Run To you (Stefano Como ft. Rocco Pezzin) This one is pretty good. 'Call Me' (Blondie) by Sing it Live Ram Jam’s cover version of Leadbelly’s cover version of James “Iron head” Baker’s Black Betty. Ram Jam - Black Betty This is a what if AIC wrote Toxic. Best comment was: This song makes more sense now that I know it’s about heroin. If Alice in Chains wrote 'Toxic' by Britney Spears |

View Quote Some covers are better than the originals and I think that's what most people try to present in threads like these. This IS a great cover. However, for me Boys of Summer has been one of my original favorite, evergreen songs since I first heard it in like 1st grade, 1984. The Don Henley version is the best, but this cover does kick ass. Another that fits this description might be Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm (this is pretty much their whole existence, heh). It's a pretty dope cover but in no way does it eclipse MJ's original version. If you disagree I'll pelvic thrust your ass. Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal (Official Music Video) |

Drake White - Can't You See - Marshall Tucker Band Cover // The Bluestone Sessions Enjoy The Silence Adele - "Hello" (Cover by The Animal In Me) Starset - Love You To Death First three have been done by others in the thread, but these versions are really good. Starset covering Type O Negative is so far out of their genre it has to be seen to be believed how good it is. Surprised no one has posted Luke Combs doing Fast Car. I grew up with the original on the radio. I never knew what a tragic story it was until he covered it. That's what happens when you only pay attention to the chorus. Luke Combs - Fast Car (Official Music video) Then Tracy pulled an Uno Reverso when Luke's cover led me to her live version. Great song-> awesome cover-> live version better than them both lmao: Tracy Chapman - Fast Car - 12/4/1988 - Oakland Coliseum Arena (Official) |
