Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: As far as what caused the stroke, or paying off the bill? So it was a stroke. I was absent from the thread that night. At the airport in Memphis Yeah, I woke up on a Friday morning and the whole left side of my body was still asleep. Lips felt funky, hand was numb, lehg was tingly, etc... I went on to work thinking it would eventually wear off, but it never did. I mentioned it to my mom at supper time and she encouraged me to get my ass to a doctor, so I told her that I'd go in the morning if I didn't feel better. When I woke up Saturday morning, I still felt fucked up so I checked my BP, and it was like 255/150. I called my mom and said "I think I'll take you up on that ride to the hospital now." When I got there, my BP was so damn high that their machine couldn't even read it the first 3 attempts. Glad you made it! That's not something you want to fuck with. Thank you. I'm very glad to be here. Much shitposting yet to be done in my lifetime! We are all glad you're here. Attached File |

Quoted: Mine wasn't a stroke. LAD heart attack commonly called a Widowmaker. They sent me home on a Tuesday afternoon and that evening when I took my meds I had an episode where I started sweating cold bullets, my vision went black, I couldn't speak and I had the most excruciating chest and upper back pain I've ever felt. It felt like everything I've ever read about a heart attack, but it got better after about 45 minutes. The next day at lunchtime I took my meds again, and damn if it didn't happen again. That time my son had the presence of mind to throw my BP cuff on me, and it was 60/30 and dropping, so that's what landed me back in the hospital for a few more days. They never really said what the episodes were, but they did a heart cath, another EKG and no telling what other tests befor ethye finally let me go home again. After I finally came to after that second episode, I made the comment to my son "boy, that was kinda spooky" to which he replied "SPOOKY? IT WAS FUCKING TERRIFYING!!!!!!!!!!!" |

Fullerton is all kinds of fun. I was waiting on my food at the window of a Jack In The Box off of Orangethorpe when some decent-looking (and well-dressed!) chick obviously overestimated her MDMA tolerance and began stripping down (in fairness, it was >95F) on the sidewalk while yodeling random comments.
