Glad to hear she pulled through.
When you said she was sick, I immediately thought "Shit! Parvo!" When I got our third dog through Joker1, he was scared that they'd get Parvo and gave me explicit instructions to avoid anywhere she might pick it up. She skated and got vaccinated. Turned up with heartworm, though, but she beat that like a champ. |

Rocki still doing great after being home from vet. I’m probably gonna have to put up anything breakable whenRudy and Rocki get reunited in a couple of weeks….

The new shop dog the ladies are calling ‘Buddy’ is filling in a little. And the way they are feeding him, yeesh.....I dont' eat that good. Not quite a week but looks much better especially around that back hip area. He is going back to the vet tomorrow to finish treatment for what they couldn’t do before because he was so skinny.

Everyone still doing great. Took Buddy (the new shop dog) back to the vet to check his red blood cell count. It has almost doubled since last week and he gained 8lbs. Still battling anemia but we're getting there. Those girls at the vet just love the guy. I had to pretty much restrain him the whole time till they let him in the back, lol. Watched some Sopranos with Rocki last night and played in the yard with Rudy a little yesterday after work. One problem with having so many is you're worried about not spending enough time with each of them and some days, it's tough. Little kitten, Lord Humongous, had me laughing so hard I started coughing. Just now getting to that side ways hopping stage and hopped backwards completely off the bed and then ran right back up with the look, "nailed it" as most cats do after doing something stupid.

The crew doing good. Still counting the days till I can release Rocki from quarantine but she’s been handling it well. Did the frozen peanut butter in the Kong toy trick for her last night. Rudy is growing like a weed and will post pics soon.
Shop dog Buddy stakes out the side door and NO one gets by without him knowing. Taking him back to vet tomorrow for another red blood cell count. Looking healthier daily.  Attached File Attached File |

Some pics after they settled down a bit after Rocki’s quarantine. They haven’t missed a beat. I just gotta getRocki to stop using the inside water bowl like the pool at the ymca…
