I was going more along the lines of "hmm... how cheap can I go and get a dedicated committment to wear a banner or shirt saying "I shoot for LazyEngineer @ AR15.com - best poster on forum. FUCK YEA!" and then have him pop smoke at the end of each run. Oh Oh OH! Even better, one of those laser writer projector thigns on his waist that like laser prints that on the ground as he does his run. Hmm.... there's opporutnity here... |

View Quote I used to be sponsored by a few of the companies people on here would know. It was a lot of logistics and at the end of the day helped me pay for some matches, and the prizes often covered travel. All said and done, I would have been better off financially had I just worked and bought the shit I wanted instead, but it was still cool. amazingly those go-fast jerseys shrink like crazy as you get older, even if they just hang in the closet.... |

I’m in the “working for what I want to buy” camp - doing strategy consulting lol Also my shirts seem to shrink too it’s weird I could sponsor this on my LLC and write it off my Taxes - which even had my name in it! Or it did for a few months. And that's when I discovered "Engineer" is a regulated word and a whole shit-storm will blow up in your face if you use the word "engineer" in your LLC business title name. And so... No more convenient tax write off sponsor opportunity. |
