Yes, I'd rather have a red dot than a magnified optic for 150 yard shot. Yes, the magnified optic would improve your groups on paper slightly, but will be worse in every other way. It's bulkier, heavier, and slower to acquire your target. I'd much rather acquire my target 0.5s faster than have a 1/2" smaller group. For the record, I hunt in the rocky mountains and my shots are usually between 150 - 250 yards, but would consider favorable shots out to 500 or so. |

If you do some searching you will notice nearly all of the chineese e-matches have orange wires, JTEC uses yellow, but one company in particular (the ones I use) uses white wires... in fact they have a very specific color combo (white/blue) as part of their being
The only ATF non-regulated initiator on the market. Don't be fooled, the safety explosives act of 2003 regulated all igniters. After many samples and conversations with the ATF, we are proud to announce that we have a non regulated product in the USA. View Quote I just used my old stock from a few years ago and the wires were white/black so I'm not sure when this change came through. The best part: they supply initiators for LEO/MIL/professional blast work AND they do custom work. Its entirely possible that the wire color/analysis of the initiator tip itself may lead to a non-consumer product or contract. PHUN! |

Here are some other fun tidbits from the Bongino podcast that riled me up:
Eli crane: 39:20 “multiple explosives with a remote detonator and flew a drone” - ya no shit... the plebs are allowed to fly drones when there are NO AIRSPACE RESTRICTIONS. As I pointed out earlier, the copy/paste 2 hour airspace restrictions were never lining up with Trump actually being on site. Corry Mills: 40:32 “imagine now if you will you have a team of 5 or 6 with a backpack with collapsible dainiel defence…” wut? Daniel Defense? thats an oddly specific thing to say. also tell you me dont know shit about guns ala shoulder thingie goes in Eli Crane: 1:26:59 – explosives were ‘sophisticated’ and multi channel detonator - as I laid out, this is basic fireworks/light show ebay garbarge tech. "How on earth did he figure this out without help?!?!?" Seriously? I grew up watching McGyver. I also enjoyed the more recent and similar show Burn Notice... With minimal tinkering just about anything can be made into a 'detonator' especially in the modern era of wifi/wireless/home automated everything. No one is capable of creativity or an original thought? I'm not saying dude was not groomed or did not have help, quite the opposite. However, dont sensationalize / go full tard in the process of seeking the truth. |

I may, or may not, have known someone who (20 years ago) set up a cheap foam RC airplane to ignite and burn as it fell to the ground, using an estes igniter and an off-the-shelf RC device connected to an extra channel on the receiver. Brian Cates - Political Columnist & Pundit @drawandstrike Remember when NOBODY could get the then-Secret Service Director to state HOW MANY members of Trump's security team that day in Butler were NOT trained Secret Service agents but were instead brought in from other federal agencies? You are only NOW FINDING OUT WHY she wouldn't answer the question. SECRET SERVICE ARE HIGHLY TRAINED EXECUTIVE PROTECTION PERSONNEL. They are highly skilled BODYGUARDS. They know THEIR SHIT when it comes to protecting a principal against threats in multiple kinds of venues. They get extensive training for it. So what happened here? Somebody made the decision to COBBLE TOGETHER an entire TEAM of non-Secret Service agents from multiple other federal agencies, give them a 2 hour webinar on what they'd be doing guarding Trump's life, and then sent them to Butler, PA that day. For the ONLY RALLY where Trump's security detail magically ended up including counter sniper teams. Isn't this...strange? Doesn't that strike you as being...weird? Remember, I wrote about this: if you wanted to kill a President in a very public manner, what would you do? Wouldn't you...I don't know, I'm just spitballing here...COMPROMISE THE COMPETENCY LEVEL OF HIS SECURITY TEAM? WELL OF COURSE YOU WOULD. Are you paying attention yet? Brian Cates - Political Columnist & Pundit @drawandstrike Reminder: To ensure it's assassination attempt where a sniper attempted to blow Donald J. Trump's head clean off had the best possible chances of success... ...a regular highly-trained Secret Service detail was swapped out... for a hastily cobbled-together-team of DHS agents who had exactly ZERO FUCKING PER CENT TRAINING being bodyguards of a principal in a public venue. They got a fucking 2 hour webinar where half the time there was no sound on the Zoom call. And it took over a month and a half for us to find this out. Recall the former Secret Service Director, Kim Cheatle, was **directly asked** during her testimony last month how much of Trump's security detail that day were not highly trained Secret Service agents...and she REFUSED to answer that question. Why did she refuse to answer the question? Because she did not want to admit the team guarding the most important presidential candidate in US history was a team of DHS agents who had NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING when the S hit the F. It took a WHISTLEBLOWER coming forward to the US Congress for us to confirm the uncooridnated/confused/haphazard response to a sniper shooting at Trump was because these people weren't trained to do the job somebody set them up to do. I'll point out again: of all the numerous rallies Donald J. Trump had done up to that day, the Butler rally was the ONLY ONE that CNN decided to broadcast LIVE. There just HAPPENED TO BE a NYT's photographer on the scene with a fantastic view, snapping very high shutter speed pics of Trump as what was supposed to be the fatal moment arrived. Instead of getting a picture of Trump's head coming apart in a pink mist, that photographer instead captured the bullet that hit Trump's air sailing past his head. I say AGAIN, as I did last month when I wrote THIS column: If you wanted to very publicly KILL A PRESIDENT, SEND A MESSAGE, how would you go about it? https://briancates.substack.com/p/if-you-wanted-to-kill-a-president Well wouldn't you take DIRECT STEPS to actively COMPROMISE his security team and deliberately CURTAIL their abilities? Isn't that EXACTLY what happened there that day in Butler, PA? Someone ENSURED Trump ended up with an incompetent team that had no idea what it was doing or how to fully secure the venue. WHO WAS IT? |
