Miata is a runner! After five days or so of back and forth e-mails with the ECU builder, it turned out he wasn't paying attention and had a jumper for the fuel pump in the wrong position. Cars in the second batch of second generation cars (2001-2005) have an immobilizer arrangement, and that is tied into the fuel pump. Mine doesn't have that so with the jumper in the wrong spot my fuel pump wasn't getting power. Got that fixed, have everything calibrated and base timing set so I'm now ready to do some tuning.
Got a call last night about my supercharger, they sent me notice of a tracking label being printed last Thursday but it still isn't assembled yet.  I was assured they would have it sent in the next two days. I get to see if it arrives before I leave for work.

I can't understand why people need to have digital calipers. I had both vernier and dial calipers, and for what calipers are designed for they worked perfectly. And guess what, no batteries to go dead, no need to reset them, no worries if coolant or cutting fluid got on them. Just my thoughts.
