I have a different take.
She is not too far removed from poverty and working as a bartender. I bet she knows all about jumping cars with dead batteries. Carrying gas in a gas can because she put 1 or 2 bucks in the tank per fill up and constantly ran out. Changing flat tires. Buying minutes on her WM cell phone. Paying bills with MO because she has no bank account... Stuff like that. Poor chicks become resourceful out of necessity. Now today, she is worth 20 million plus because she has served a few terms in politics making a couple hundred thousand a year, and that clearly adds up to 20 million...
