I find the OP to be correct. Not saying there are no youg libs... but there are a lot of young people breaking the mold. |

batshit crazy karens are the only ones watching The View.
NOBODY in my house watches nightly news except to get some local tidbits on weather or sports. We cancelled XM years ago and just have Christmas mustic on either a USB stick or CD for the vehicles with our different fav playlists. We caught the returns on Sat ... no point in looking at the washed up hags or soybois on local TV stations. We have BARE-MIN Sat these days - everything else is streaming/ROKU and our bill is very manageable. |

This is 100% the case. I have teenagers who are on TikTok and they send me Pro Trump, anti Kamala stuff all the time ---- they're based. They're also not the only ones either. Some of their friends are hard working...saving for their first homes.
SOME of y'all boomers really need to shut the fuck up with the bashing of the younger generations. Some people have had their roll in creating the problems we face. Some people played a part in making things better. |

I think the conservatives are making some inroads to connect with younger people , but they have a ways to go.

Makes sense.
I ended up talking to a couple kids at a birthday party not too long ago. If you are willing to stay at least somewhat aware of the changing internet culture. There will at least be some intersection which gives an in for young minds to be open to your ideas. One of those teens posted Trumps entire victory speech to her social media. Others were unironically using the typical "brainrot" terms which I found entertaining getting some of the references. The left is struggling to reach these kids. So it creates an opening for the right to succeed if they are will to try. |

My 17 year old grandson was pissed that he couldn't vote this year. He told his mother that he hopes she will vote right. He made sure both of his parents were voting straight Republican, lol. There's still hope for the future of this country.

I have a mostly early 20s, mostly female staff.
Most were pro trump in early conversations. I know one voted wrong, one is 50/50. The rest I'm confident voted for their future for all the reasons your daughter mentioned. They were all upset about roe_wade but they also want to afford starbucks and wine.. Edited, 50/50 one voted wrong. So 8/10 did the right thing |

My 3 kids and 2 son in laws are all mid to late 20s..they don't watch TV news..they clean information from social media/internet. They all voted for Trump, my kids and the 2 son in laws were raised by Gen X, Infantry types. If that helps.

Gen X delivered the white house with 55% for Trump. The represented 35% of the total vote. Guess how their kids will perform. 13 kids, nephews and nieces here. 8 to 23 years old. None have strayed to the stupid side. Their lights are on. Even the little guys. |

Trump's popularity among young Texas voters also grew. In 2020, just 35% of voters between the ages of 18 and 29 voted for Trump. This year, that grew to 51%. Among Texas voters, Trump made a 27-point improvement with young men. Four years ago, 33% of Texas' male voters younger than 30 voted for Trump in 2020. The exit poll data shows that up to 60% of young male voters are casting a ballot for Trump this year. Despite Democrats banking on abortion to drive young women to the polls, Trump made gains there, too, in Texas. Just 38% of Texas young female voters cast a ballot for Trump in 2020, up to 45% this year. ...Four years ago, when Trump lost the presidential race to Biden, just 15% of Black men who voted in Texas cast a ballot for Trump, according to exit poll data. This year that grew to 34% of Black male voters who cast a ballot for Trump. Trump's popularity also grew among Latino voters in Texas. Just 38% of Latino men who voted in Texas cast a ballot for Trump four years ago, compared to 53% this year. When it comes to Latino women, 36% of Texans from that demographic voted for Trump in 2020 compared to 48% this year, the AP Votecast exit polling data shows. Huge shout out to Barron Trump, who instructed which podcasts that his dad should go to:
https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/barron-trump-donald-podcasts-election-b2643192.html During his third White House bid, Trump sat down with the likes of YouTuber Logan Paul, comedian Theo Von, podcaster Lex Freidman, YouTubers the Nelk Boys, political commentator Ben Shapiro, entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David and, most recently, the most popular podcaster in the world Joe Rogan. Trump also took part in a 90-minute interview with Kick influencer Adin Ross in August where the former president was gifted a flashy gold Rolex and a Tesla Cybertruck. Barron and Bo were said to have been behind that appearance at the time. Jason Miller, a senior Trump advisor, told Politico’s “Deep Dive” podcast that Barron’s selections were “absolute ratings gold that’s broken the internet.” View Quote |
