I would expect the flag, saying 'fuck' would be taken away. Also returned at the end of school

It isn't that they aren't still trying to do all that BS still, it's more of doing the exact kind of BS but for different reasons is still BS. For example, do you think Trump needs to constantly tell lies and promote misinformation to be effective? Not suggesting he is, but that is sort of what you seem to be advocating. |

If that school pushes the woke agenda in any way, shape, or form, go for it kid! Conservatives (especially Christians but that's a different thread) take way too much lying down these days and no one's got balls to make a statement or do anything about it.
These clowns need their feelings hurt. Also to be reminded they aren't the majority, so they need to sit down and shut up or they'll get their shit pushed in Your "moral high ground" is meaningless if you're in the ditch bleeding out |

Obedience is not patriotism. Patriotism is love of your country, not of your government.

History indicates that Conservative Americans only have three speeds: silence, peaceful protest rallies, and Total Industrialized Warfare. They excel at the latter.

It describes a lot of my friends. I thought they were funny. We all did. But it is a self perpetuating cycle. Do something dumb, make other kids laugh. Then you have to do something even dumber to get another laugh, and then dumber yet again, and on and on. |

It does usually lead to brushes with the law of some sort though. No, that is your bias showing. What bias? I am ecstatic that Trump got elected. If it was a one time incident with the flag, I’d assume the kid was also just excited. But it wasn’t a one time incident. You are projecting negative intentions on this young man for some reason. Do you not remember highschool or was it too long ago that it was a "different time"? There were kids like that in my high school. There is always one. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt and just say he was excited about Trump. The Hawk Tua chant alone is enough to determine that he seeks negative attention. Yes, using memes is bad. Mmmmkay. Did you not read the OP? He got the whole school to do a chant. Unless I misread it? And...? What am I missing? That is negative attention seeking behavior. It didn’t have to be hawk tua. It could have been “when I say poo, you say pee”. We all knew kids like that. Don’t pretend you didn’t. They thrive on that stuff. Ooof... swing and a miss. Just admit you were wrong and don't understand. Hell, we played Fenslerfilm's GI JOE PSAs over the school's intercom. Were we doing something that we thought was funny or were we "seeking negative attention"? Maybe you don’t see it because you were that kid. Maybe you just had a negative interaction with "that kid" and that's why you are projecting so negatively on this one. No, I wouldn’t say that. I wouldn’t even say I’m being that negative. But I do respect valedictorian more than class clown. So you are saying it is a good thing to get a DUI and have trouble with law enforcement? Did you already forget you were agreeing with the member who had a kneejerk reaction calling the kid a moron and discrediting him as a soon to be criminal? You then added to that by creating a false narrative about his intentions and decided to make a strawman about valedictorians and class clowns. |

I don't mind but would have been better to wear a Trump flag that didn't have the F word on it.
Again I don't care myself but that is an easy way for the school to make him remove it. Why make it easy for them. |

Could easily and perhaps even likely be that he likes both Trump and getting attention. Doesn't have to be one or the other. |
