He's full of it....a buddy of mine said he had to go through at least 4 search stations, with amnesty bins, and got checked more when he got back here. I think they would have found a 240.

I have an ex-marine(comm guy) friend that told me how they smuggle back items. I guess there's a space in front of the humvees that they can stash stuff. Can anyone confirm this?

I remember in Okinawa, some armoror lost an M9. We got marched around in formation for 4 days. searched hi and low, got treated like shit. finally some guy found it, I forget where. I think shoved in some old couch they had inside the armory? . I was just glad to get beer again. |

Now I've heard stories from back in WW2 how servicemen would break down 'spare' M1919's and Tommy Guns, and mail them back home piece-by-piece... Which given the time's I can believe that.
But an M240B these days, or even a M9 or hell a helmet? No way... Not unless he's involved in some high-level arms smuggling in which case he wouldn't be bragging about it. I call total BS. |

I work with an ex-Secret Service agent whom made many trips to the sandbox and has brought quite a few things back in the Diplomatic Containers that they had with them. No one searches those. He also has a couple interesting firearms from a trip to Germany he made while on detail.
