Got a Aimpoint T1 in a Larue Tall mount (LT660), want to co witness a PVS14 behind it...  what Larue mount lines up?  Pics?

I've gotten some conflicting info on how well the Larue PVS mounts line up to the T1....

You might try putting this in the LaRue industry forum, or giving them a call.  Sorry, I can't help.

I sent them an email about this. Haven't heard back. So tag for a hopeful answer.

When using a PVS-14 behind an Aimpoint, it is not necessary to be perfectly-aligned behind the primary optic. I've had great success firing at night, using an Aimpoint with a head-mounted PVS-14. Works great (even though the cheek-weld is a bit tricky).

That being said, our selection of PVS-14 QD mounts are specific to Aimpoint M-2's, M-4's and Eotechs riding on standard-height mounts. We do not have a PVS-14 mount that lines-up perfectly with the centerline of a T-1 in an LT660.

The LT660 (Tall ) mount puts the centerline of the optic 1.64" over the rail.  

- LT114 (High mount) is 1.77"  ( .130" higher)
- LT133 (Low mount) is 1.27"  ( .370" lower)
- LT755-14 (pivot mount) is 1.725"  ( .085" higher)

Therefore, the LT755-14 would get you closest to the centerline of the T1 on an LT660.

Thanks for the reply. So if you were doing it, what would you suggest? I'm not counting out the M2 or M4, but I've got a couple of T1's and like them. Was just hoping they would work, but if the other options would work better, I'll get one of those. I guess the magnifer lines up with the M2 or M4 as well, not sure if it does on the T1.

The magnifier doesn't line-up exactly either (but that does not matter with an Aimpoint)

Here's what I'd get.
- LT755-14 (PVS-14)
- LT755-30 (3X Magnifier)

And the 660 tall mount for the T1? I've only got short mounts so far, but need a new one for another rifle anyway. I'll just get another one in the tall and be done.

Yeah, I have a LT755 with the 3x Magnifier in it already behind the T1 in a tall mount... and I didn't even know it didn't line up perfectly.. LOL   I thought it was perfect alignment.. If you have them, I'd like to see them. I have the T1's, so was wondering how well they would line up. If you are getting a PVS14 mount I wouldn't mind seeing that as well. Thanks for offering.

I'd be interested in seeing pics of your setup, too.  I've got the T1 tall mount and have been thinking about getting magnification for it.
