Sorry bud, I should have been more specific. The one on the FDE magpul handguard. The one that looks like a little round knob. Do you like it? Is it comfortable? Thanks again!

Those are gone - they were made by a guy on here a few years ago. They are nice little handstops, solid Delrin with great knurling. I'll look to see if I have other pics.

I bedded one of the MOE dedicated mounts into the plastic handguards. It's not pretty, but it is functional. It removed 8 ounces of weight. I fine tuned he mount with a three pound sledge and a vice to get the angle of the dangle correct. He mount is fastened from he inside of the handguard, so I had to bed it for clearance. The fasteners are on the outside, also bedded due to be handguard's curvature. The work area was then coated in epoxy to ensure the mount won't come apart. The epoxy was built up around the exterior fasteners to cover all sharp edges present. Since the epoxy was clear, I then painted the work area with Plastic Dip paint. I may go back in and add more epoxy, and bevel the edges more for cosmetics. Aside from the massive weight savings, this setup allowed me to use a stock reproduction forearm that has far better ergonomics than my previous mounting solution. He placement of the momentary/constant on switch of the Surefire M600c is in a better spot and is held closer to the barrel. A QD sling mount option was also sourced to further reduce weight. The low profile sling mount offers an obstruction free hand placement. |

Updated my rifle light mount. Got rid of the standard Thorntail in favor of the Thorntail SBR.

IWC MOE mount modified to fit a FFT stock reproduction handguard set. Assembly then painted in black/burnt bronze Cerakote. This is the lightest, most ergonomical lighting setup available for the Benelli M4. |

Finally a rear sling mount QD option. Running a VCAS padded sling with sewn in QD points. Forward sling mounts are also IWC mounts. No modifications were needed for the rear sling mount. The part simply dropped in the existing sling loop. |

I never thought about a Thorntail on an A4 clone before. But it looks like it was made for it. The Thorntail get the Scout up and out, where there is no rail on the M5 rail, so that it can get past the front sight base. Very cool.

Recently had Earl send me the newly released 1913 Offset Mount for the CMR / LM8 rail. A stout mount living up to IWC's reputation!

MOE SMC. The Ambi design is impressive. It took me a little bit to decide which side of the gun it was going on. The rounded edges are easy on the hands without gloves. Fits great and the finish is very nice. It gets the light forward enough to use the clicky on the XM. The light is out front enough to eliminate early all of the barrel shadow. IWC has surprised me again with another great product.
Also seen is 2 into 1, and QD Micro.
