I personally find the Gear Sector mounts too bulky and have switched to Danger Close mounts as they are lighter and lower profile.

I lucked out a scored a unfired 14.5 carbine upper with mams for a song, pinned it today and threw my new lower that has been just sitting in the safe for something special. I'm pretty excited for it and I think it will quickly become my new primary rifle.

I'm in the process of building up a Block I-ish type right now as it's what I started out with back when I got serious about ten years ago. Out dated stuff but not really any less effective. |

@MNRidesHonda - the guys who cerakoted the rifle didn't align it properly. Doesn't effect recoil, at least not from what I can tell. I need to re-align it one of these days

Looks great, Buddy. Thinking about picking up one of those KAC mounts shortly. Between that and the Geissele.

Being an updated design, I suspect the Geissele is probably the better choice of mounts, however I dig the timeless look of the KAC. Visually, it would appear the Geissele has borrowed design cues from both KAC and ADM, yet still managed to incorporate their own flavor such as multiple reversed-picatinny segments. Pretty slick.
