Any of y’all running this guy yet?  I currently run a Raptor in all my guns (that aren’t clones) but I love BCM so I wanted to give it a try.

This has probably become my favorite shooter, over some popular guns.
Old Noveske SBR lower, Geissele H3, T1/Unity, FP PEQ15, Arisaka/Surefire 600.

I like the design improvements of the MK2 upper receiver.  You just have to be careful with your handguard selection when using one.

Is the upper a little thicker towards the top where most rails have their alignment tabs?

This one is all BCM. The upper started life as an 11.5" FSB. ADCO cut it down and installed the rail. Front sight is the KAC, rear sight is a Matech. Optic is a T1 on a LaRue mount.

Yes it is a registered SBR. And I'm sorry its a little crooked in the photo.

How often do lowers come in stock? I'm looking to put together basically the recce 16" qfr rifle.

This one was a factory recce 16 that I swapped the barrel on to a Bartlein.

Not sure what I’m going to do for an optic. Wanted to put a Pro on it but my astigmatism has ruined Aimpoints for me.

@-OdieGreen-  Is that the PA 3X prism?  Any reason to change from that?  Maybe try their 1x prism?

I have a few of the 1X and 3X PA micros. They’re alright but wanting something a little better. I have a TA50 3X ACOG and RMR on my go to Geissele so will probably go LPVO to avoid redundancy.

I only paid $600 for the gun (plus another $230 for a make over) thanks to Cabela’s being AR ignorant, so I can expand the budget a bit for the optic.

Wondering if anyone has pictures of a 14.5 mid length with the front sight post and either a QRF or MCMR handguard? Ideally with a CTR stock and Magpul grip. Trying to get inspiration for my first BCM "build".

Picked up a bcm complete lower from brownells the other day. I didn't realize until after I ordered it that it has the mk2 rms buffer system. This is going to be a shtf rifle. Is this a trustworthy buffer system? I typically stay with milspec non proprietary stuff. I've seen a lot of back and forth of people's opinions. Upper is going to be a 16" mid length shooting non suppressed.

Buy a spare buffer system, then use the OEM until it either fails or is worn out. The fact you don’t hear about problems more often is probably because there aren’t any problems to talk about.

It's not proprietary, it's their name for an A5 system.
