What rail length do you recommend for a 14.7" with 1.9" flash hider? I am contemplating between 11", 12" and 13". I am wondering about weight, balance, looks etc..... Thanks The 12" rails tend to be what many people thinks looks best, though obviously opinions vary. As you go with a longer rail, make sure you check rail weights and leverage is not your friend. ETA 14.5 w/ 13.5" Noveske NSR rail

The "overall length" (flash hider and barrel) will be 16.6 so I think I am going with the 12" rail as I think the 13" will be too much.
