Fixed stocks only behind enemy lines. Adjustable stocks have to be pinned. DoubleStar ACE Skeleton is my favorite.

CTR and VLTOR E-Mod for me. Latter has left my beard alone for the most part.

Magpul ACS or Magpul STR. I like the wide cheek weld and the storage.

I’m surprised there’s so little love for the Magpul UBR. I have a gen 1 and gen 2 on a 16” and 14.5” AR. As someone with OCD and a beard, they are perfection in a collapsible stock. They lock up rock solid and have a consistent and beard friendly cheek rest.

Magpul CTR for general purpose, HD
Magpul ACS on my precision AR for longer length of pull for shooting prone, and for balancing out the heavier barrel profile. |

I like the BCM stocks, minimalist but get the job done. Slowly switching everything over from CTR's.

Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way!

Magpul SL-S
I run sbrs with fullsize cans and mfal and light. The SLS gives me fuel for my thermal, nods, mfal, and light, while creating balast against the front heaviness of the rifle. It I'd also spring biased wobble free, sturdy, and has a great cheek weld. It is long enough that my heard does not get caught against the buffer tube at the front. The Magpul DT does this to me nearly every time. |

Magpul STR and B5 Systems SOPMOD. I get good cheek weld with these.

I've noticed a lot of people over the years wanting a lighter stock. Balance > light weight. You have a WML, frontend laser, and can on your SBR...give me a beefy stock for better balance..

UBR's, Ace entry, fixed carbine, and a PRS-lite. The one lonely ACS balanced the M&P 22 well enough I keep it. |

I’ve gone back and forth. Used to be a ctr, then b5 bravo, but I’ve transitioned over to the LWRC compact (not ultra compact) for general purposes. But depending on the setup it may need something different.
