I finally assembled my Armalite lower with a 16" upper and topped it with a 10x Super Sniper scope.  I could not find good 30mm rings rings high enough for the scope so I used a .84" high ARMS mount so that the .26" high Warne rings properly position the scope.  There is a bit of forward and aft play in the pieces so I positioned them on the forward edge to keep them from moving under recoil.

What are you guys using to mount a scope on an AR-10?

Larue LT-158.  It has 10 MOA down-angle on it for long range work.

If you don't need the 10 MOA, a LT104 would work just fine.  Larue makes a great product.  Repeatable enough that I have 2 scopes and a red-dot all zeroed for the same rifle and they maintain zero for that rifle after hundreds of swaps.

For my GA Precision .260 Rem, I use the LaRue LT-112, with 20 MOA of cant built-in.  You didn't used to find it on their site for a reason.  It's not a goose-neck mount like the LT-104 or -158, just a standard 1-piece base type with normal rings, and QD levers.  A very good mount.

It's also made in USA, so you don't have to worry about your dollars being used by our enemies in China if you buy it.  You can get it for $50 less if you choose the VFZ mounting option.

I just put a Pentax 6.5-20X on my AR-10T using the Burris one piece REPR mount. Very solid and has Picatinny rails on top for a red dot if you want or just looks good. Has smooth tops as well.

Honestly have @ dozen LaRue Mounts.

Most are LT-104s but two (2) of the three (3) AR-10s have LT-158s and I'm taking

the LT-139 off of the 458 SOCOM and putting the SWFA SS 1-4x24 in another LT-104.

No way - I just wasn't sure if this was for Armalite .308s or other brands. I put up a photo of a DPMS  carbine with a Springfield Sniper 1st Generation scope and mounts then thought I might be posting out of intent so I removed it. Not you at all, I'm just trying to stay within context on technical forums.

Amalite makes a great mount for $85.00 "or real close  to that price".They make it in 30mm and 1" or high and low!

Badger Ordnance EBR rings.  1.25" high, which is perfect height for an AR-10 mount for me.  They also make extra high rings for "AR-10/SR-25 style rifles" that are the same height, but weigh a little more.
