Just lucked out & got another part of the puzzle for a 601 build, only drawback is it doesn't have an original Colt scabbard, but an M8A1'll be ok! A couple small "knicks" in the handle show it's brown underneath.

Soon enough, these too will be banned. :(

Sadly you may be right, I did 25 years as a cop in Paterson NJ (3rd largest city in NJ) & was actually friends w/the guy who wrote Nj's assault weapons bill (at least up to it!), one of the big points in their "assault rifle" determination is a bayonet lug! I remarked to him one day (wasn't a real good idea as he was Mayor of Paterson & a NJ Sate Senator) that should stop all our problems w/the gangs doin bayonet charges against each other, he looked at me & said "that's become a problem here?"!, I said no, in 15 years on the street & hundreds of arrests I don't ever recall 1 gang related bayonet charge, but you're saving us from the possibility!, needless to say my days at work took a sudden turn for the worse for a nuimber of years LOL!

LOL!, he was a "Supreme" Democrat & a bit of an egomaniac, more akin to the "Grand Ol Party" of the Soviet Union!, NJ Democrats are a "special" breed, hell, a NJ Republican would be considered a bonafide Socialist in most FREE states.
