Looks the same as ours in the Army in the 70s. Until recently, I had my weapons card from the 54th MP Co. at Fort Ord! Thanks for posting. At one point I had one for an M16A1, 1911A1, and 2" S&W Model 10 .38,

That brings back a lot of memories!
Thanks for posting. I was USAF Security Police for 21 years. I always kept my weapons cards in my M-16 ammo pouch so I always had them when checking out my rifle. |

I was an SP for 11 years then retrained into disaster preparedness. Kept mine te same way when I was not working the armory. |

I recently built a M16A1 for a long time friend who told me he wanted me to build a rifle like he carried in Vietnam. When I gave him the rifle it also had an arms room card filled in with his old unit info, service #, etc. He was speechless for a long time.
