Guys,

All 3 of my AR15's are 20" A2 National Match type rifles for use in high power matches.  I have been doing some ammunition testing, and my cheapo Chicom A2 carry handle mount is making me suspect of my results.  I crank it down on the carry handle, but it just doesn't seem plausible that I can shoot tigher groups from prone with irons than I can using a scope on sandbags.  I only want to mount a scope on my rifles for ammunition testing, but I want a good, solid mount for this purpose.

Who makes a decent A2 carry handle mount that will maintain zero while mounted?  I don't care if it returns to zero after a dismount, I'm shooting for groups, so if it's an MOA or two off after remounting it, that's ok.

Thanks!

Matt

I have done the same with my service rifle and I'm very happy with the ARMS #2.   I also have a "cheaper" mount that seems to be tight but no doubt it walks.   The ARMS #2 has never let me down.

I have this one it stays put, but will mark the bottom of the handle.
You can still use the iron sights
