You are correct. That's the forging code for Mueller Brass Forging Co. Their current forge mark found on flat-top forgings looks like the one in the picture below:

Funny you said that, while I was looking for an image of their current forge-mark, I've come to learn that they're now known as Mueller Idustries and their logo explains the forge-mark. |
