Can someone tell me the thread pitch on the factory RRA 9mm carbines?  The FAQ above states that they are 1/2x36 instead of 1/2x28, but the post I read it in was from 2003.  Is this still true?  If so, is there a reason why?  I want to run a suppressor on whatever I buy, and my cans are all 1/2x28.  Any solutions to changing to 1/2x28 (if they aren't threaded that way)?

Should still be 1/2" x 36.....that is the 9mm standard. I have one from a year or 2 ago and it is the same..........1/2" x 36.

they're 1/2x36- either have it cut down and rethreaded, or get an adapter from trosusa.com

It's mainly so people can't screw on a 5.56 flash suppressor and watch the fun as a 9mm bullet tries to make it through the 5.56 hole.

The best solution is to SBR the lower.
You know you want to anyways...

Yes, that would be nice.  Unfortunately, I'd go to jail for a long time.  SBRs aren't legal in AL.
